George Brooker House offers a regular day care service to clients with or without dementia. This daily service provides peace of mind that relatives are being well looked after while carers get on with their own day.

During their visit, our day guests enjoy the companionship of others and the full support of the dedicated care team. A home-cooked nutritious lunch is included together with regular refreshments throughout the day. The staff organise a varied daily activities programme for the benefit of residents and our day guests.

Guests with dementia are able to participate in mainstream activities at the home, particularly those involving music and art - the benefits of which are well researched and documented. We also use a whole host of proven techniques to encourage interaction, including reminiscence sessions and memorabilia cabinets with gentle reminders of yesteryear.
